6.3 Door lock control

6.3.1 The available commands on the SAS

Alarm command
(terminals 19 and 20 on the SASIC board)
This is the general alarm which may be
triggered deliberately by the SAS user by
closing the contact between the inputs
19 and 20 on the control terminal. To stop
the alarm, the contact between 19 and 20
must be open.
Emergency command
(terminals 21 and 22 on the SASIC board)
This is a priority command, triggered by
a momentary closed contact between the
inputs 21 and 22. When it is active, the two
doors open automatically and remain open
as long as the "Reset Emergency" push
button, situated on the SAS board, is not
pressed. The emergency signal lights up the
general alarm LED on the control panel.
SAS Lock command
(terminals 23 and 24 on the SASIC board)
This is a priority command, triggered by
a momentary closed contact between the
inputs 23 and 24. When it is active, the SAS

is locked. All of the commands are blocked.
To unlock the SAS, leave the contact open
between 23 and 24.
Free entrance command on the two doors
(terminals 25 and 26 on the SASIC board)
Again, this is a priority command.
It is triggered by a momentary closed
contact between the inputs 25 and 26.
When it is active, the two doors open
automatically. They close again as soon as
the contact is open.
6.3.2 Priority order between
the emergency, opening
and locking commands
1. Free entrance has priority over locking
If the locking command, as well as
the free entrance command are active,
it is the free entrance command which is
taken into account.
But as soon as the free entrance command
is cancelled and if the locking command is
still active, the SAS remains in locked mode.
2. The emergency command has priority
over free opening and locking
If the locking command, the free entrance
command and the emergency command
