Battery charging status indication
Please note that the battery charging status detection can only
be activated when the radio is in charging mode (i.e. the radio is
switched off, the battery switch in the NiHM position and it is con-
nected to the AC mains socket).
. Make sure the radio is switched off and connected to the ACmains
socket when charging the batteries.
2. Press the Menu button to enter the setting.
3. Rotate the Tuning control until 'BATTERY' shows on the display.
Press the Tuning control to see the overall battery charging sta-
tus. Then rotate the Tuning control to view the individual battery
status if required.
When charging is in progress, display
is shown at right and the charging
indicator flashes green.
When the charging process is com-
pleted, display is shown at right and
the charging indicator lights in steady
green.
