OPERATION

This chapter describes how to correctly operate the TheraKair Visio MRS, how to operate and navigate the
touch screen and how to safely power up and power down the system.

Power-Up Procedures

Initial Power-Up

1. Connect the system as described in the Preparation for Use section of this manual.
2. Press the green power switch located at the side of the therapy unit to the ON (I) position.

The indicator light on the top of the therapy unit should light up green.

Power-Up After an Improper Shutdown

Should the system be powered up following an improper shutdown of between 30 seconds and 30 minutes
(power outage etc.), the system will start up and operate at the last stored settings for inflation and
pulsation. Warming and InstaFlate function will be reset to zero.
If the shutdown is less than 30 seconds, the system will resume therapy at the last stored settings.
Following any period of shutdown, the screen lock function will resume at the previous setting.

Power-Down Procedure

1. Press the green power switch located at the side of the therapy unit until it is in the OFF (O)
position.
2. Unplug the therapy unit.
