About This Documentation
These instructions contain important information on the safe and appropriate assembly,
operation, and maintenance of the product and how to remedy simple malfunctions yourself.
O
Read these instructions carefully, and especially the separate document "Notes on Safety"
(R412015575), before working with the product.
This documentation describes valve systems from the following series: HF04, HF04-XF, HF03-
LG, HF02-LG
Additional documentation
O
"Notes on Safety" (R412015575)
O
Also follow the instructions for the other components (e.g. bus module).
O
Observe the system documentation from the system manufacturer.
O
Furthermore, observe general, statutory and other binding rules of the European and
national laws, as well as the valid regulations in your country to protect the environment and
avoid accidents.

Applications
The VS is a pneumatic valve system with electrical control. With the VS you can distribute stored
pressure energy to your system components in a targeted manner, e.g. by controlling pneumatic
cylinders. Thanks to its modular design, you can implement numerous pneumatic functions in
the sector for general machine construction. The VS is used to control the valves via the D-Sub
multiple plug or a bus link.

VS HF04 to control 24 valve solenoids (25-pin)
W
VS HF04-XF, HF03-LG and HF02-LG to control 24 or 32 valve solenoids (25-pin or 44-pin).
