Fitting the expansion tools

Dimension expansion spur
Ensure that the expansion spur and the clamping cheeks have the same dimensions.
(See identifying colour codes)

Slip the expansion spur
over the piston rod.
The expansion unit is
pushed over the piston
rod.
(Nut of the clamping
jaws against the clawed
ring of the working
cylinder).

Tighten the knurled
thumbscrews by
hand.
Tighten the
front knurled
thumbscrews by
hand. The expansi-
on tool is now ready
for the expansion
process.
