3. Description of the electro-hydraulic pump
3.1 Brief description of essential features
The pump comes with a special flow stop that stops the flow immediately when releasing the
start button.
The pump is equipped with a double piston pump which facilitates a rapid feed until the
workpiece is contacted.
The pump has a microprocessor control unit, which e. g. shuts down the motor after the
operation is completed, displays required service intervals and carries out malfunction analyses.
All functions of the pump can be controlled with the help of the forward and return button (8).
This ensures easy handling.
The used Li-ion batteries, which do not suffer from either memory effect or self-discharge, ensure that
the tool is always ready for use even after longer periods of time. Furthermore, unlike NiMH batteries,
they feature a lower power to weight ratio with a 50 per cent higher capacity and fast charging times.
The oil used is especially environmentally friendly and has been awarded the „Blaue Engel" (Ger-
man „Blue Angel" certification). In addition to that, the oil is also suitable for very low temperatu-
res and has excellent lubricating properties rendering our devices virtually maintenance free.
Hydraulic Pressure Check, HPC for short, monitors the oil pressure directly in the oil circuit of the
tools, thus ensuring a continuous, consistent quality.
During each operation, the pressure reached is determined via a pressure sensor and compa-
red to the required minimum. Any deviation from the set working pressure results in an audible
alarm.
The pump can be used and transported in any position without oil spillage.
