Mounting the expansion tools
• Connect the hydraulic coupling (4) to the hydraulic
coupler (17) of the required expansion tool.
• Insert the battery in the mount on the right and switch to
Working Mode 1 / Press Function (5).
Note:
Dirt
Make sure that both coupling and coupler are free from dirt.
The unit is now ready to start flaring the pipes (assembly see Chapter 3.4).

Removing / replacing the expansion tools
Note:
Tool change
Expansion tools must not be disconnected while the pipes are being flared.
Flaring is complete when the mandrel is fully retracted.
• Withdraw the coupling sleeve of the hydraulic coupling and disconnect the hydraulic
hose (4) from the expansion tool.
• Connect the hydraulic coupling (4) to the hydraulic coupler (17) of the required expansion
tool.
The unit is now ready to start flaring the pipes (assembly see Chapter 3.4).
