Information on grill and combi operation
•
Use heat-resistant tableware only, as radiation heat develops during grill
and combi operation.
•
When operating in grill mode only, you may also use metal or aluminum
tableware, but not during normal or combined microwave operation (see
table "Suitable microwave tableware").
•
Do not place anything on the top of the enclosure. It will become hot.
Always keep the ventilation slots unblocked.
•
Use the grill to place the food closer to the heating element.
Suitable microwave tableware
CAUTION: Sparks!
•
Do not use metal containers or plates. Microwaves cannot penetrate
metal but are reflected on metal surfaces. The resulting sparks inside
the microwave may damage the appliance.
•
Do not use paper bowls made of recycled material, as these might
contain small amounts of metal which might cause flying sparks or
fire.
CAUTION: Risk of explosion by sealed tableware.
•
Open closed containers before cooking or heating.
•
Pierce protective plastic foil several times using a fork.
•
The most suitable material to be used in a microwave is transparent and
allows the microwave radiation to heat the food evenly.
•
Round/oval bowls and plates are more suitable than square ones, as
the food might boil over at the corners.
The table below is intended to help you choose suitable tableware:
