DAV
1 Identification
The DAV wire cutting station is used in industry and the trade for robot
MIG/MAG inert gas welding. The DAV is used when the welding wire must
be cut off at the free end, such as when cutting off the weld bead or oxide layer
to improve the ignition characteristics, changing the torch neck in the ATS rotor
including wire extraction, using seam-tracking sensors and TCP measuring
devices. These operating instructions only describe the DAV wire-cutting
device. The DAV wire cutting device must only be operated using original
ABICOR BINZEL spare parts.
