f. Low and high impedance mixed connection
Flex Power
is capable of simultaneously feeding a low impedance enclosure (4Ω/8Ω) and a set of high impedance enclosures (25V, 70V
2120
or 100V) on a single channel.
To activate the ZONE 1 amplification output in mixed mode, proceed as follows:
1. Set the "LINE 25/70/100V" switch to ON mode.
2. Connect the loudspeaker cables to the "0V" and "25V" or "70V" or "100V" outputs and simultaneously to the "4Ω/8Ω" and
"
" outputs of the SPEAKER ZONE 1 (Left) Euroblock terminal. Make sure the polarity of the enclosures is correct: the "25/70/100V" ter-
minal is the positive pole to be connected to the enclosure's "+" (red) connector, the negative "0V" terminal to the "-" (black) connector.
The negative "0V" terminal to the "-" (black) connector. The "4Ω/8Ω" terminal is the positive pole to be connected to the enclosure's "+" (red)
connector, the negative "
3. Repeat this operation for the "LINE 25/70/100V" switch and the SPEAKER ZONE 1 (Right) Euroblock terminal.
Warning: if an 8Ω enclosure is connected to the low impedance output, 60 Watts will be reserved for it. There
will be 60 Watts left to distribute on the high impedance output. If a 4 Ω enclosure is used, the 120 Watts will
be fully dedicated to it. There will no more power available for the line output.
4.6 ZONE 2 output connection
Connection of the ZONE 2 output.
The stereo signal of one of the four inputs can be sent to the ZONE 2 line level output connector. This output can feed a second amplifier or
another device installed in your configuration, or an amplified active subwoofer.
5 types of connections may be made on the ZONE 2 output connector:
2120
" terminal to the "-" (black) connector.
