4.2 Input 1 description
The balanced (mic or line) and unbalanced (line) audio sources can be connected to the MIC/LINE INPUT 1 Euroblock terminals.
The functions are selected on DIPSWITCH 1.
• DIP A: 48V: On/Off. This function is used to connect a static microphone requiring a 48V Phantom power supply.
• DIP B: Mic/Line. This function is used to select the input 1 level for a microphone (MIC) or a music source (LINE) like CD, DVD, MP3,
computer, TUNER, satellite terminal, cassette deck, etc.
• DIP C: Voice Boost speech filter. On/Off: Activating DIP B in Mic mode automatically activates a circuit that filters signals below 180
Hz and above 15 kHz (-6 dB) to give priority to speech. The Voice Boost speech filter can be activated to enhance voice intelligibility (+ 5
dB at 3.7 kHz).
• DIP D: VOX: On/Off. Input 1 can be given priority using the automatic Vox. When a signal is detected, input 1 is given priority and all the
others are cut off (except for the auxiliary input on the front panel). To activate this function, the DIP Switch must be set to ON. The "VOX"
gain potentiometer is used to set the "Priority" input sensitivity.
