7.3 Changing modes

Normal operation usually does not require any
modifi cation of the factory-adjusted modes of operation
or their factory-adjusted state. In special cases, or if
the need arises, different modes of operation or states
may be changed by entry of a code.
Inputs and readings when a mode of operation is
changed
(Fig. 7-2 – example code C14)
• Press the "SETTINGS" key (F2, Fig. 4-4) three
times.
"C 14" appear in the monitor.
— Press the menu key - or + (1, 2, Fig. 4-15) until the
required C number is reached.

Rotate the wheel to set the desired code in the
display.
The C state is read out on the screen. For some codes
a given value can be set.
— Do the proposed changes.
— Press the OK key to set the value.
To return to the normal working
Press the
ESC
key.
Having completed the input of mode of operation it will
remain stored until the machine is switched off with the
main switch, or until a new input is made.
The changed modes can also be stored permanently
with code C10, so that they are not cancelled when the
machine is switched off but are retained in a permanent
memory for future use until a new input is
made and stored. Settings changed, but not saved in
the permanent memory will be reset to the previous
value when the machine is turned off.
Code C4 cannot be stored in the permanent memory.

inputs are described in the following.
