SX ELECTRIC HEATING
(accessory)
The electric heating coils with their heating resistances
have thermal safety protection against any abnormal
rise in temperature. This protection is provided by two
thermostats :
– One thermostat with automatic reset.
– One thermostat with manual reset.
Mounted on a rigid metal frame, the electrical
resistances can be easily installed in the SX indoor
unit, in both the wall and ceiling mounted installations
(Please refer to the installation manual supplied with
the kit).
Electrical capacity
Note :
Electric heating is mandatory for heatpump models
operating at an outside temperature below < 0° C.
The electric heating coils operation is controlled by
the unit’s electronic circuit board.
In order to reduce electrical consumption, the electric
coils are split into two stages, coming into operation
successively in relation to the heating required to reach
the desired temperature setting.
The second stage only operates when the temperature
variance, in relation to the desired temperature setting,
is grester than 1°C .
