PROBABLE CAUSE
1. Faulty motor, power
cable or plug.
2. Blown fuses.
1. Low power supply
voltage.
2. Damaged windings.
3. Capacitor blown.
1. Damaged windings or
faulty motor.
1. Mains system circuits
overloaded by lights,
utilities or other motors.
1. Motor overload.
2. Insuffi cient motor cooling.
1. The sanding belt/disc are
worn out.
2. The sanding belt/disc
are not suitable for the
material being handled.
SUGGESTED REMEDY
1. Get the machine checked by expert
personnel.
2. Check the fuses and replace them if
necessary.
1. Ask the power supply company to check
available voltage.
2. Get the machine motor checked by
expert personnel.
3. Get the capacitor replaced by expert
personnel.
1. Get the motor checked by expert
personnel.
1. Avoid using utilities or other motors on
the same circuit to which the machine is
connected.
1. Avoid overloading the motor during work
operations.
2. Remove the dust from the motor to
achieve a correct fl ow of cooling air.
1. Change the worn belt and/or disc.
2. Check that you are using the right grain.
