This heater is ment to be a permanent heater and
should be firmly placed on a level ground. It can be ope-
rated with propan, butan gas and should be installed by
an authorized expert in a well ventilated room. An oxy-
gen-protection device is installed in this heater that the
oxygen level does not sink to a dangerous level. This
device shuts the heater off when the oxygen level falls
below a set amount. A flame control device shuts the
heater off, if the flame extinguishes.
The appliance is equipped with a regulator and pipe
break valve. Should the gas pipe be pulled off during
operation, or if it should burn, the rate of gas flow will
increase to such an extent that the pipe break valve will
automatically cut off the gas supply. Since this stops the
gas flowing from the gas cylinder through the pressure
regulator, the flame will be extinguished.
NEVER SEARCH WITH AN OPEN FLAME FOR
LEAKS!
THE UNIT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR USE INDOORS.
Note: After shutting the heater off, wait 3 minutes
before igniting it again.
Do not operate the valve knob with force! The knob
does move further than the ignition point, if it has
not been pressed prior and the unit is started accor-
ding to instructions.

In your own interest and for optimum security it is requi-
red by law, that this unit must be installed by an authori-
zed expert (i.e. gas installater) in accordance with the
laws ot the individual country.

7 Minimum distance
Check the inside ventilation, In all rooms without air-
inlet/exhaust, which are heated bysolid firing materi-
al, oil or gas provision must made for
ventilation. For an air-tight room the minimum requi-
rement is: for 1,5 kW approx. 45 cm
ning.
Place the heater on the place desired, but observe
a minimum distance of 200 mm to a wall and 300
mm toward shelves below or to glass walls. If the
heater is used inside a greenhouse turbulent air
flows prevail, because hot air rises in the center,
cools down on the glass panes and falls down along
the side walls. These convection flows are enhan-
ced by the generated heat. Therefore a
installation opposite the entrance would be a good
place.
Attach the hose to the adaptor with a lefthand
thread (G 1/4") in the back. While attaching the
adaptor to the lefthand thread the nut should be
firmly held with a key before it is tighened. This help
to avoid that the adaptor get loose in the valve hou-
sing. All connection should be checke for
tightness.
Under no circumstance should gas bottles be
stored in the same room, only outside and on firm'a
ground. Drill a hole through the wall and place the
hose through it from the heater to the regulator. see
Fig. 3
Note: An installation with firm piping must be
executed by an authorized installator. Before each
new start piping and connections should be
checked for tightness!
It is recommended to keep the door open while the
gas presure tests are made to let leaked propan
50 mbar
gas out.
Make sure the heater valve is in the OFF (AUS)
position, than you can open the valve on the gas
I.3 B/P(50)
bottle. Press the pipe break valve button.
All piping should be controlled with soap-suds for
tightness. Leaks can be noticed by the bubbles.
Please note: Besides the risk using propan gas
even minute amounts of unburned gas are
ging to plants. Therefore a very correct and tight
installation should be observed.
