5 Operation
Switch on the camera switcher with the POWER
switch (4). The red Power LED (3) is lighting with oper-
ation.
5.1 Automatic switching mode
In the automatic switching mode the pictures of the
camera inputs (9) are displayed on the monitor in ad-
justable switching intervals one after the other. The
camera inputs are passed through in the sequence
1–8 (resp. 1–4 with model TVS-40). The control lamp
above the corresponding toggle switch (1) lights up to
indicate the camera channel selected at present.
1) Set the toggle switches of the camera channels to
be shown in the automatic switching mode to posi-
tion AUTO. Set the toggle switches of the camera
channels which are not connected resp. to be
skipped to position BYPASS.
2) With the control RUN TIME (2) set the desired
switching interval between 1–15 seconds.
5.2 Manual selection and switching of the
camera
1) If a camera picture is to be displayed on the monitor
continuously, set the corresponding toggle switch
(1) of the camera input to position HOME. The con-
trol lamp above the toggle switch lights and thus
signalizes the selection of the camera channel.
2) For switching over to another camera channel, set
the toggle switch from position HOME back to its
previous position (AUTO or BYPASS) again and
the respective toggle switch of the desired camera
input to position HOME.
