Drive direction display, left
Towed vehicle rear fog lamp

Drive direction display, right
Right tail light

Continuous positive power supply
Towed vehicle battery positive charge line
Earth contact 10
Towed vehicle recognition
Earth for contact 9
- The fog lamp is turned off via the control unit.

3. Functional test

Re-connect the earth wire to the battery.
Check all functions with a suitable testing instrument (with load resistance) or with a towed
vehicle!!!
Fix all wire lines with cable binders.
Note:
For the 13-pin line set the power outlet socket functions can be extended with an extra installation set.
This is available in specialist shops as Westfalia Item No. 300 025 300 113.
Vehicles with parking aid
For vehicles with parking aid there is the option of de-activating the parking aid when in towing operation.
To do this, the br/wh lead of Pin 7 of the electrical set control unit is re-routed to the parking aid control
unit and connected to Pin 5 of the 16-pin plug.
As a rule the control unit is located at the rear left in the space behind the side wall covering.
For complete functioning please consult your specialist Skoda garage and have the parking aid control
unit released for towing operation with the help of the service tester.
