Cutting variants
Straight cut (longitudinal and lateral cut):
•
Position the foam board on the support rail (No.
4), extract the cutting bow (No.10), slide the
foam board to the left as far as the cutting mea-
surement (to be read on the measuring scale of
the support rail (No.4)) and then guide the cut-
ting bow through the foam board. To generate
multiple cuts fix the slider for repeat cuts (No.9)
on the left bearing rail (No.8): The board can be
laid vertically or horizontally on the bearing rail
(No.4) to produce longitudinal or lateral cuts.

Mitre cut
Transfer the mitre angle from the object to the foam
board using the supplied sliding bevel; position the
board on the bearing rail (No.4), then pivot the cut-
ting bow to the right until the mitre aid of the cutting
bow (No.10) corresponds with the marking on the
foam board. Secure the locking elements (2 x No.12)
at the top and bottom and shift the locking element
for mitre cuts (No.13) to the stop of the cutting bow
and fix in place. The mitre setting for repeat cuts re-
mains in effect and cuts can be reproduced without
requiring any further adjustment.

Bevel cut
•
Transfer the pitch of the roof to the foam board
using the sliding bevel and set the board on the
bearing rail (No.4). Extract the cutting bow, lift
the support (No.4) with the foam board and rai-
se the support for the bearing rail (No.15) until
the wire of the cutting bow (No.10) corresponds
with the marking on the foam board. Move the
slider (No.3) up to the support and fix in place.
The bevel setting for repeat cuts is now set. If the
angle to be set for the bevel cut is known, this
can be preset by using the angle scale for bevel
cuts (No. 5).
Bevel cut
Mitre/bevel cut
This cut is executed in the same way as a mitre cut
and bevel cut. The board can also be mitred when
executing the bevel cut.
Rabbet / double rabbet and depth cut
•
Extract the cutting bow to the desired rabbet di-
mension and adjust the depth gauge on the cut-
ting bow (No.10) to the required level. Position
the foam board on the bearing rail (No.4) and
guide the cutting bow (No.10) through the board
at the desired cutting point as far as the stop of
the depth gauge. Guide the foam board to the
left to the desired measurement. Then remove
the cutting bow from the board. To generate a
double rabbet cut repeat the process described by
guiding the cutting bow (No.10) through the board
again, moving the board to the left and then re-
moving the bow from the board once more.
