4.7 SPINNING THE WHEEL
1) Manually activate the wheel to spin the wheel.
Wheels must turn clockwise.
2) The operator must release and no more touch the
wheel once the rotation speed is reached and mea-
suring cycle is undergoing.
The measurement is completed as soon as the direc-
tion indicators light up.
The unit beeps.
The automatic brake will be applied to stop the spin.

FAILURE TO TIGHTEN THE NUT SECURELY
MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY.
DO NOT USE A HAMMER TO TIGHTEN THE NUT.
• Allow the wheel to spin freely until a tone is heard.
• Check that the wheel rotates true by turning the
wheel several revolutions while noting any excessive
runout.
NOTE: While most "Aluminum" modes are used
prima rily for automotive applications some can be
utilized on wide or "Fat" wheels used on today's
custom motor cycles (Figure 26).
NOTE: Error messages will be displayed in the event
problems are indicated during the calibration veri-
fi cation process.
