8.2 REPLACEMENT OF ENGRAVED FOCUS RING
Proceed as following to swap the engraved focus ring from feet to
meters (or vice versa):
- Set the engraved focus ring (23 or 24) at the infinity end stop.
- Draw a mark on the focus witness mark ring (22) at the infinity line.

- Unscrew the 3 engraved focus ring screws (25) : to access these 3
screws, turn the engraved focus ring (23 or 24) to make the screws
successively appearing in the window of the focus witness mark ring. (22)
- Remove the lens bracket. (5) (Picture 19)
- Remove the engraved focus ring. (23 or 24) (Picture 20)

- Install the new engraved focus ring. (23 or 24) (Picture 21)
- Turn the engraved focus ring (23 or 24) to align the infinity line with
the mark done before on the focus witness mark ring (22) (Picture 22)
and tighten the first visible screw. (25)
- Turn the engraved focus ring (23 or 24) to install the 2 others screws. (25)
- Check the alignment between the infinity line with the line done before
on the focus witness mark ring (22) and install lens bracket. (5)
