6.2.6. Safety edge - Fig. 24
Attention
The auto-test is mandatory for the connection of any active safety
edge to ensure that the installation is compliant with the standards
in force.
Safety edge active with auto-test, ref. 9019611: programme
parameter "Px" = 2.
Allows an automatic test to be carried out to check the operation of the
safety edge each time the gate moves.
6.2.7. 9.6 V battery - Fig. 25
Degraded operation: speed reduced and constant (no slowing at end limit),
24 V accessories inactive (including cells).
Battery life: 3 cycles/24 hrs
6.2.8. Area lighting - Fig. 26
For class I lighting, connect the earth wire to the earth terminal on the
base of the motor.
Attention
The earth wire must always be longer than the live and neutral
wires in case of detachment.
The lighting output must be protected by a 5 A time-delay fuse (not
supplied).
Lighting output power:
• either 5 fluocompact or LED lights
• or 2 power supplies for low-voltage LEDs
• or 1 halogen light, max. 500 W
7. ADVANCED PARAMETER SETTING
7.1. Using the programming interface - Fig. 27
1) Press the "SET" button to enter parameter setting mode.
Indicator light P0 flashes once.
2) Press the "+" or "-" button to change the value of the parameter.
The indicator light flashes x times to indicate the value selected.
3) Press the "SET" button to confirm this value and move on to the next
parameter.
4) Press the "SET" button for 2 s to confirm a value and exit parameter
setting mode.
The parameter setting indicator lights are out.

7.2. Meaning of the different parameters
(Text in bold = default values)
P0
Operating mode
1: sequential
Values
2: sequential + short closure time-delay (60 s)
3: sequential + long closure time-delay (120 s) + block-
age of cells (2 s)
Comments
P0 = 1: Each press on the remote control causes the
motor to move (initial position: gate closed) as per the
following cycle: open, stop, close, stop, open, etc.
P0 = 2: This operating mode is only authorised if the
photoelectric cells are installed and P4 = 1, 2 or 3.
In sequential mode with short closure time-delay:
• the gate will close automatically after a time-delay
of 60 s,
• pressing a button on the remote control inter-
rupts the movement taking place and the closure
time-delay (the gate remains open).
P0 = 3: This operating mode is only authorised if the
photoelectric cells are installed and P4 = 1, 2 or 3.
In sequential mode with long closure time-delay +
blockage of the cells:
• the gate will close automatically after a time-delay
of 120 s,.
• pressing a button on the remote control inter-
rupts the movement taking place and the closure
time-delay (the gate remains open).
• After the gate is opened, movement in front of the
cells (safe closure) will close the gate after a short
time delay (fixed at 2 seconds).
If no movement occurs in front of the cells, the gate
will close automatically after a time-delay of 120 s.
If there is an obstacle in the cells' detection zone,
the gate will not close. It will close once the obsta-
cle is removed.
P1
Gate speed
Values
1: Slow
2: Standard
3: High speed
Comments
Warning
If the setting is changed, the installer must
check that the obstacle detection system com-
plies with appendix A of standard EN 12 453. If
necessary, install a safety edge and check that
compliance is obtained.
Failure to follow this instruction may result in
serious injury, e.g. due to crushing by the gate.
P2
Slowing zone when opening/closing
1: None/none
Values
2: Short (approx. 20 cm)/short
3: Long/short
