4.4. Auto-programming of the gate travel - Fig. 16

Auto-programming allows the gate's speed, maximum torque and slowing
zones to be adjusted.
Attention
• Auto-programming is a mandatory step in commissioning the
motorisation.
• During auto-programming, the obstacle detection function is not
active. Remove any objects or obstacles and do not allow any
persons near or inside the operating range of the motorisation.
• During auto-programming, pressing the "SET", "+" or "-" button
interrupts auto-programming.
• During auto-programming, the safety inputs are active.
1) Press and hold the "-" button to close the gate. The gate must be
resting against the closure end stop.
2) Press the "SET" button.
• The gate opens at reduced speed until it reaches the opening stop
on the ground.
• The gate closes at nominal speed then reduced speed until it reaches
the closed position.
• The gate opens at nominal speed then reduced speed until it reaches
the open position.
• The gate closes at nominal speed then reduced speed until it reaches
the closed position.
Programming is complete. The "POWER" indicator is permanently lit.
͉
͉
The slowing zones when opening and closing are set to a default
distance of about 50 cm.
The gate must not encounter any point of resistance in the slowing
zone.
Attention
Once installation is complete, it is essential to check that the obsta-
cle detection complies with annex A of the standard EN 12 453.

5. OPERATING TEST

5.1. "Complete opening" operation - Fig. 17

5.2. Obstacle detection operation

• Obstacle detection when closing = stop + complete reopening.
• Obstacle detection when opening = stop + partial reversal.

5.3. Operation of the photoelectric cells

• Cells obscured when opening = the state of the cells is not taken into
account and the gate continues to move.
• Cells obscured when closing = stop + complete reopening.

5.4. Operation of the safety edge

• Activation of the safety edge when closing = stop + complete reo-
pening
• Activation of the safety edge when opening = stop + re-closing

5.5. Specific operation

See the user manual.

5.6. User training

All users must be trained on how to safely use this motorised gate (standard
use and unlocking principle) and on the mandatory periodic checks.

6.2. Description of the various additional devices

6.2.1. Photoelectric cells - Fig. 19
Warning
It is compulsory to install photoelectric cells WITH AUTO-TEST P4
= 3 if:
• remote control of the mechanism with gate not visible is used,
• automatic closing is activated ("P0" = 2 or 3).
3 types of connection possible:
A - without auto-test: programme parameter "P4" = 1.
B - BUS:
1) Remove the bridge between terminals 17 and 18.
2) Programme parameter "P4" = 2.
3) Perform auto-programming.
C- with auto-test: programme parameter "P4" = 3.
Allows an automatic test to be carried out to check the operation of the
photoelectric cells each time the gate moves.
6.2.2. Reflex photoelectric cell - Fig. 20
Programme parameter "P4" = 1.
