Program radio stations manually
Note: You can program a maximum of 20 preset radio stations.
1. Tune to a radio station.
2. Press the PRoG button to activate programming. The PROG begins to blink, press
it again to confirm, the preset number and the frequency of the preset station are
displayed.
3. Repeat the previous steps to program other stations.
Note: To overwrite a programmed station, store another station in its place.
Tune to a preset radio station
Press / button on the front panel ( or remote control) to select a preset number.
Show RdS information
RDS (Radio Data System) is a service that allows FM stations to show additional
information. If you tune to an RDS station, an RDS icon and the station name are
displayed.
Press dISPLAy repeatedly to scroll through the following information (if available):
• Programme Type / RDS CLOCK / Radio Text / Frequency
Synchronize clock with RdS station
You can synchronize the clock time on the unit with an RDS station.
1. Tune to an RDS radio station that transmits time signals.
2. Press and hold dISPLAy button.
• [CT SYNC] is displayed and the unit reads RDS time automatically.
• If no time signal is received, [NO CT] is displayed.
Note: The accuracy of the transmitted time depends on the RDS station that transmits
the time signal.
AdjUST VoLUMe LeVeL ANd SoUNd eFFeCT
Adjust volume level
During play, press the VoL+/- button to increase/decrease the volume level.
enhance bass
During play, press S-BASS button to turn on/off super bass enhancement. If
S-BASS is activated, [BASS] is displayed.
Select automatic loudness control
During play, press LoUdNeSS button to turn on/off automatic loudness control.
Mute sound
During play, press MUTe button to mute or restore sound.
