50. Keep the appliance clean. Always switch the appliance off, pull
the power plug and let the appliance cool down completely
before cleaning and storing it. Please refer to the "Cleaning
and care" section on page 80 of this manual.
51. Only use mild detergent and a soft towel for cleaning. Aggres-
sive detergents and solvents or abrasive materials could dam-
age the surface.

52. Prior to first use remove all packaging materials and labels
resp. tags (except for the type plate) and clean the kettle and
lid from the inside and outside. Follow the chapter "Before first
use" on page 74 of this manual.
53. This product has not been calibrated for industrial or scientific
use. The temperatures may vary, but they will always be in the
optimal range in order to cook water for all types of tea and
coffee.
