SAFETY REGULATIONS
Please read these instructions carefully before first use and save them for later
reference.
Always ensure the appliance is placed on a dry, level flat heat resistant surface.
Never place the appliance near objects that generate heat, such as gas burners or
electric ovens.
Do not place the appliance near inflammable materials or explosive and/or self-
igniting gasses.
Make sure the holes of the appliance are not covered.
Connect the appliance to alternating current, an earth-connected wall socket with main
voltage corresponding with the data marked on the appliance label.
Never sharply bend the supply cord and never let it touch hot surfaces.
Otherwise it could be damaged.
To prevent people from tripping over the supply cord, there is also short supply cord
included.
You can only use an extension cord when the electrical rating (check on label) is
higher than or equal to that of the bread maker.
Plug in the extension cord in a way no one can trip over the cord or accidentally pull
it.
Check the condition of the supply cord. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer of its service agents or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard. Wrongly executed repairs can lead to extreme danger for the
user.
Do not allow children to use the appliance in your absence. Please ensure the
appliance is safely stored out of children's reach.
This appliance complies with the general safety regulations. Inspection, repair and
technical maintenance can only be executed by a qualified person.
Do not place objects on the appliance and do not cover it, when it's activated, to
reduce the risk of fire.
The bread maker can become warm. Only touch the handles and buttons of the
appliance and use, if necessary, oven mitts.
Make sure the appliance is fully cooled down and pull the plug out of the wall socket,
before adding or taking out the parts from the appliance.
Do not move the bread maker, if the appliance contains warm ingredients or liquids.
Avoid contact with the rotating kneading paddles, when the appliance is activated, to
reduce the risk of injury.
Turn off the appliance by pressing down the 'Start/stop' button for a few seconds.
Then pull the plug out of the wall socket to disconnect the appliance. Do not pull the
supply cord.
Please turn off the appliance and remove the plug from the socket, when you want to
clean the appliance or when it's not in use.
