Instructions on Care and Maintenance
All ESCHENBACH lenses are made of PXM ® , an optically pure plastic
material with a number of user-friendly properties:
• durable
• lighter than glass
• optically pure for the highest imaging quality
®
The PXM lenses are coated in a special process are scratch-resist-
ant, slightly demirrored and have a permanently antistatic coating.
Apparent hairline cracks that may be detectable at the edge of the
lens do not detract from the optical image. These are small line
structures of the material that are production-related.
Should the labo-med lens part become soiled, please be sure to
observe the following:
For cleaning purposes use a soft cotton or linen cloth. Always wipe
the lens surface lightly. In case of bad soiling rinse the lens under
hand-hot water. For cleaning purposes you should on no account
use alcoholic or organic solvents as these can damage the lens.
Warranty
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, we
provide a warranty for the functioning of the product described in
this manual with regard to faults arising in connection with manufac-
turing errors or material errors. In event of damage due to improper
handling, including damage from a fall or impact, no warranty claim
exists. Warranty claims are only accepted upon presentation of the
sale receipt!
