Congratulations on your new wood-burning stove complete with a HWAM Autopilot IHS IHS is short for “Intelligent Heat System”, which is a digital control of the combustion in your new wood-burning stove. The purpose of the HWAM Autopilot IHS is to control the combustion in an environmentally optimal and economically efficient way, with a view to generating greater user comfort. -

- Page 11 Air box with power supply. For the models HWAM 3610 and HWAM 3620 on pedestals, it is necessary to remove the front of the pedestal in order to connect it to the power supply. To remove the front, follow the instructions in the drawings D1-D3.

If the chimney is too tall to be cleaned from above, it must be equipped with a soot door. In case of a chimney fire and overheating, the HWAM Autopilot IHS will enter a security mode and automatically adjust all dampers, effectively quenching the fire. - Page 14 Thermostat adjustment The HWAM Autopilot IHS has a thermostat function, which attempts to keep the room temperature at the desired level. The thermostat works like a radiator. Use the remote control to choose the level you want and the temperature that suits your rooms.

The alarm will light up three times with a ten second interval and it is supported by sound. Three different amounts of wood are recommended for restoking: A small amount of wood (700 - 1200 g) A medium amount of wood (1000 - 2000 g) A large amount of wood (1800 - 3000 g)

The thermostat function is designed as a radiator valve. The user enters a desired heat level, which suits the room in which the stove is installed.

A good combustion is achieved when the fire gets the right amount of oxygen supply at the right time and place in the combustion chamber. The HWAM Autopilot IHS allows for variations in external circumstances. -

Briquettes give off a lot of heat. Certain types expand considerably, thus causing an uncontrollable com- bustion. Coal burns at a high temperature and makes a lot of soot. Coal must be burned using the coal insert. Not suitable for fuel in these models. Coke burns at a high temperature and makes a lot of soot. -

- Page 25 Airbox zonder voeding Airbox met voeding Bij de modellen HWAM 3610 met voetstuk en HWAM 3620 met voetstuk moet het front van het voetstuk worden gedemonteerd om de stroomvoorziening aan te kunnen sluiten. Volg de aanwijzin- gen op de tekeningen D1-D3 om het front te demonteren. Leid de stekker door de achterzijde van het voetstuk en sluit de stroomvoorziening op de airbox aan.
- Page 26 Als reiniging van de schoorsteen van bovenaf onmogelijk is vanwege de hoogte van de schoorsteen, moet er een reinigingsluikje worden aangebracht. Bij schoorsteenbrand of oververhitting zal HWAM Autopilot IHS overschakelen op de veiligheidsstand en automatisch alle kleppen afstellen om het vuur snel te laten doven. Doe de deur niet open, anders kan het vuur weer oplaaien.

Deeltjesemissie 1,78 g/kg FStAndSbEdiEning De afstandsbediening is de interface van HWAM Autopilot IHS . De afstandsbediening meet de huidige kamertemperatuur. Daarom moet de afstandsbediening op een plek in de ruimte worden geplaatst waar deze niet wordt beïnvloed door een onnatuurlijk hoge temperatuur, zoals de stralingswarmte van de houtkachel of direct zonlicht. - Page 28 Thermostaatinstelling HWAM Autopilot IHS heeft een thermostaatfunctie die ervoor zorgt dat de kamertemperatuur op het gewenste niveau blijft. De thermostaat werkt op dezelfde manier als bij een cv-installatie. Met de afstandsbediening kiest u zelf het gewenste niveau dat bij uw kameromstandigheden past. De thermostaatfunctie kan op zes verschillende niveaus worden ingesteld: (Niveau 0-5, waarbij niveau 3 een gemiddelde is van ca.
