Maintaining the band system
Clean the band system if required with a soft cloth.

The following cleaning agents are permitted: all non−abrasive media.
Lubricate the surface of the band system if it no longer has a layer of grease.

Grease type: LUB−KC1 (silicone−free) from Festo.
Lubricating the recirculating ball bearing

S Note that lubrication must be undertaken more often in the case of:
dusty and dirty environments
working strokes < 50 mm or > 2000 mm
at speeds > 2 m/s
ambient temperatures > 40 °C.
S Always lubricate the DGCI at the latest every 3 years.
2. Lubricate the roller bearing through the
holes on both sides of the slide.
For this purpose use a grease gun with
pinpoint nozzle or alternatively a dis
posable syringe with needle.
Permitted grease type: LUB−RN2
S Push the slide backwards and forwards during lubrication.
Otherwise the grease cavities will not be filled evenly.
Alternatively, Festo offers a service inspection which includes lubrication.
Otherwise the DGCI does not require any maintenance.
