It is possible to intercept a call even if the answering machine
has already begun to take it. So you can talk with the person
who called.
Press the Off Hook button.
Press the Menu softkey.
Select Answer Machine and press Select.
Select TAM Settings and press Select.
Select one of the following options and press Select:
Select the answering machine mode.
Use the up/down key to select the delay for answering the
call:
- 2 Rings (2 ... 9 rings): Call will be answered after x rings.
- Time Saver: If new messages are available, the answering
machine will answer after two rings. If no new messages
are available the call will be answered after six rings.
Therefore you can check remotely whether or not new mes-
sages are available without having to make a connection.
