Be sure that the door is correctly closed before igniting the hearth.
Avoid putting a log in front of the pilot flame as this will prevent the main burner from igniting and may result
in the accumulation of unburned gases in the hearth. If this happens, you must put off the pilot flame and
contact your installer.

Place blocks 05, 06, 07 and 05 on the
burner plate, as in the photograph. Make
sure that the pilot light (PILOT) is not
obstructed.

Place blocks 02 and 03 on the burner
place, as in the photograph. Block 03
should rest on blocks 07 and 02.
Scatter the embers 08 around the burner
(MAIN) and the fibre 09 on the burner.
When using propane gas, you should
not scatter the fibre 09 over the
burner.
Place blocks 01 labelled L and R on the
correct burner port, BP1 (L) and BP2 (R).
Scatter the vermiculite granules 10 over
the burner plate. Make sure that there
are no granules on the burner MAIN. The
connection between the PILOT light and
the MAIN burner should also be kept free.
