rounds of the ON/OFF button and the grinding button (6) light up.
CAUTION: Make sure that the buttons for the steam function (3) and coffee extrac-
tion (4) have not yet been pushed in, meaning they are not lit up. Otherwise, the
grinding function does not work!
Set the control knob for the quantity of ground coffee (7) to the desired position.
●
The further you turn the knob in a clockwise direction towards "Max", the larger
the amount of ground coffee will be.
Turn the bean container (20) so that the arrow on the cup shelf points to the
●
desired grind size setting. You can turn the bean container both in a clockwise
and a counter clockwise direction. The higher the set number is, the more coarse
the grind will be. 1 is the finest grind size, 25 is the coarsest grind size.
The grind size should only be adjusted while the grinder is running.
Place the filter insert for one cup (25) or for two cups (24) in the portafilter (23),
●
so that it locks into place. If you want to make a big cup of coffee, use the filter
insert for two cups and let more water run through – depending on the desired
intensity of the coffee.
