This paragraph deals with equipment maintenance and repairs. Proper operation of the product and its
service life are dependent on strict compliance with the following recommendations.

E
QUIPMENT MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the battery charger from the AC network before starting any maintenance work.
If appliances are in a dusty atmosphere, vacuum-clean them regularly, since dust deposits may adversely
affect heat release.
Check the state of battery charge every 3 months.
The tightness of nuts and screws should be checked annually to ensure efficient operation of the appliance
(particularly in hostile conditions: vibrations, shocks, high variations in temperature etc.).
A full technical inspection by a CRISTEC-accredited engineer is recommended every five years. It can also
be done at our plant.
With this setting, the CPS3 charger produces a single-stage UI
type load curve. It generates a constant voltage, supplying the
current required by the battery(ies). Recharging time depends on
the state of the battery, being longer than when the boost is in the
ON position.
