The boiler does not react. What can be done?
First the wiring is to be checked. Is the boiler and Smart Thermostat connected correctly?

Has the correct interface configuration been set? To check this the installer menu can be
z
opened again.
For relay interface configurations check for the "clicking" sound on the controlling device
z
shortly after the setpoint is turned up and down. If the click is audible and the heating does
not come on, then after turning the power off the wires in COM and NO can be joined
together to see if this fires up the boiler. If this is the case, it indicates that the incorrect
interface has been set.
The existing controllers must remain installed in the system for some digital interfaces.

You can refer to the Smart Thermostat compatibility catalogue to find out which ones these
are. Were the instructions complied with?
If the Smart Thermostat is connected to a weather-compensated heating system (digital
z
interface), then the thermostat must be activated and the settings must be made in the
menu of the previous heating controller. Was the configuration performed correctly? Have
all settings been checked once again?

When both wiring and interface configuration have been checked and the test is still

not successful, a reset of the devices is advisable. This is done by pressing the button on
each device for more than 8 seconds until it restarts.
