C 1 Side Arm LH
D 1 Side Arm RH
E 2 Spacer
F 4 Bushes 19 O.D, 119 long
G 2 Bushes 19 O.D, 134 long
H 6 M12 x 165 x 1.75 Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washer and Flat Washer (25mm O.D.)
J 2 M12 x 40 x 1.75 Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washer and Flat Washer (25mm O.D.)
K 2 M12 x 40 x 1.75 Bolts, Lock Washer and Flat Washer (25mm O.D.)
L 6 Spreader Plate
M 1 ZEP35 Electrical plate (not shown)
CB 2 M16 x 50mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers
FITTING
1. Remove luggage-retaining loops from corners of boot floor (Take off centre cover and undo Torx head screw). Remove
rear panel along boot edge (2 screws on inside face). Loosen boot side trims (screws located behind plastic trims).
2. Locate dimples in boot floor, (3 on top face of each chassis rail). Drill out dimples to sufficient diameter to insert
bushes (F & G).
3. Insert bushes (F & G) into chassis. Attach spreader plates (L) using bolts (H). Note: Ensure good mating surface
between spreader plates and boot floor, (any acoustic sound proofing agent must be removed).
4. Attach side arms (C & D) and spacers (E) in position shown, using fixings (H).
5. Attach crossbar (A) using bolts (J& K). Tighten all Bolts.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z1) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
