MATERIALS
A 1 Main crossbar.
B 2 M12 x 35 x 1.75 Bolts, and Serrated Flange Nuts.
B1 2 M12 x 35 x 1.75 Bolts, and Serrated Flange Nuts.
C 1 L/H Sidearm.
D 1 R/H Sidearm.
E 1 Neck
F 4 Existing M10 Crash Beam Nuts.
G 4 M12 x 35 x 1.75 Bolts, Flat Washers, Lock Washers, Witter Cage Nuts and Retainers
H 4 M12 x 35 x 1.75 Bolts and Serrated Flange Nuts.
CB 2 M16 x 50 x 2.0 Bolts, Lock Washers and Nuts.
For use with either
Note: This tow bar must be used with either a Witter Tow ball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X tow ball, which
dimensionally conforms to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the tow bar.
FITTING
Remove the screws within the wheel arches 4 off each side undo the 2 central plastic clips.

Remove both light clusters by lifting the hinged plastic flaps and removing screw fasteners 2 each side.

Remove the 2 tongue shaped plastic covers 1 off on the bottom of each side of the rear hatch and remove the

fasteners.
Gently prise the bumper off and disconnect the reversing sensors (if fitted) Remove the bumper beam and retain it to
4.
hand to the customer.
Assemble the sidearm's (C) and (D) complete with Cage nuts and retainers to the main crossbar using fasteners (B)

and (B1) Note : At this point fully torque only the two most forward fasteners of (B1) before inserting the whole
assembly through the chassis openings in the rear panel.
Secure each Side Arm (C & D) to the vehicle using fasteners (G) through the chassis and re-using existing bumper

beam nuts at the rearmost points (F).
Assemble the Neck (E) to the Cross Bar (A) using fasteners (H)
7.
8. Fully Tighten all fasteners including the two rearmost bolts (B) to the correct torques.
Cut bumper as shown and re-fit to vehicle.
9.
Recommended torque settings:
Grade 8.8: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200 Nm
Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
