Witter G110U Instructions De Montage

MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar
B 4 Nut Retainers and M10 x 1.5mm Square Nuts
C 4 M10 x 40 x 1.5 Bolts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (30mm O.D)
D 2 M10 x 1.5 Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (25mm O.D)
E 6 M10 x 40 x 1.5 Bolts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (30mm O.D))
F 1 Electrical Plate Angle (ZEQ4) & Z99 Flip up electrical plate.
G 2 M16 x40 x2 Bolts (only to be used with ZF neck replacing M16x50)
This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball, which dimensionally
conforms to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
FITTING
1. To remove bumper remove 3 screws in each wheel arch, open boot and remove luggage from side panels to gain access
to light fixings. Take out the rear lights by unscrewing the internal fixings. Once lights removed unclip the bumper at top
and pull rearward.
2. Remove aluminium crash beam and cut inner flange away as shown in diagram on both sides, ready for refitting.
3. Before fitting crossbar attach cage nuts (B) to crossbar as per illustration. Offer cross bar (A) into chassis rails and fix bolts
(C) on the underside. Open up holes if necessary.
4. Refit the crash beam to back of crossbar, use nuts (D) for support and fit and Torque bolts (E) to their recommended
torque followed by underside bolts (C)
5. Attach neck option as per separate fitting instructions and electrical plate assembly (F) Note: If fitting ZF neck use M16x40
Bolts and discard M16 x 50 Coupling Bolts.
Refit bumper and lights. Caution. Ensure top edge of bumper is clipped in properly.

Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M16 - 200 Nm Grade 10.9:
M12 – 120Nm,
