11. Error Codes

The display shows the corresponding error codes depending on error. The meaning is as
follows:
Err01
The distance to the measured object is too large (or too small).
Err02
The reflected laser light is too weak or not clearly recognisable for the sensor. This is done, e.g.,
bent/mirrored surfaces or only weakly reflected rough surfaces.
Err03
The display area was exceeded (overflow, max. value 99999). Measure in smaller sections if
required.
Err04
An error was found when calculating the Pythagorean Theorem at indirect measurement. Comply with
the procedure when measuring, specifically the right angle to the desired measuring height.
Err05
The batteries are too weak or empty. Replace them with new ones.
Err06
The device is too hot. This happens when the device is used in too hot an environment or if it
was exposed to direct solar radiation for too long.
Err07
The ambience brightness is too high so that the laser point cannot be recognised.
