Biocide metering

High temperatures and high mineral concentration promote the growth of
microbiological cultures in the cooling water. For the protection of the equipment and to
prevent health hazards to humans, it is necessary to add a dose of a germicide product
(biocide) into the cooling water circulation at regular intervals.
With the Multronic, it is possible to trigger a timer-controlled biocide metering via an
optional timer module.
The following settings are to be used in the Timer module (see also Operating
instructions Timer module, chapter 4.1 controller parameter).

It is important to couple the timer module enable with the desalination module that is to
be controlled through the additional controller enable in the module configuration of the
desalination module (see Operating instructions bleeding module chapter 4.1

Bleeding is blocked during the metering and residence time.
