The electrical box contains a plastic bag with a series of electrical
resistors.
The timer setting can be modified within a range that may vary up to
a maximum of about 58 seconds; this is done by adjusting the value
of the RS resistor shown in the wiring diagram at the end of this
manual.
If the timer tripping delay is too long, the machine or workplace
may be damaged due to a lack of water or water leaks from the
network of nozzles.
7. OPERATING THE MACHINE
Before starting the machine, make certain that the red cap
on the pump has been replaced with the yellow dipstick
provided in a separate bag.
Also make certain that the oil level is sufficient.
Replace the red cap on the pump oil tank with the dipstick with the
yellow cap. Check the oil level inside the pump.
Before operating the machine, make certain that all
protection devices are in place and in good condition.
7.1 INITIAL START-UP
Each time the machine is started up for the first time that season, run
the following procedure:
1. Check that the water filters are clean.
2. Unscrew the end-of-line nozzles or open the end-of-line valves.
3. First switch on the machine in manual mode so that the network

of nozzles can be rinsed out to eliminate any impurities that may
have settled inside. To do so:
3.1 Open the mains water cock. Using the pressure gauge on the
filter unit, check that the pressure of the water entering the
pump does not exceed 3 bar. If this requirement is not met,
install a pressure reducer.
3.2 Power the machine with the main switch set to OFF:
3.3 Turn main switch into position
Depending on the machine operating pressure, if there are
no nozzles, after a few minutes of operation, the machine
may be locked out. If necessary, stop and reboot the
machine until rinsing has been completed.
4. Restore nozzles and end-of-line valves.
5. Restart the machine in position
operation, check that the nozzles are functioning properly. If the
spray pattern is not uniform, clean the nozzles or replace them.
6. Using the pressure gauge installed downstream of the filters,
check that the pump inlet water pressure does not exceed 3 bar.
7. Using the pressure gauge built into the pump outlet, check that
the operating pressure is 70bar ± 10%.
If problems occur, see the section on <Troubleshooting> indicated
below.
7.2 OPERATING THE MACHINE
The nebulization group can operate in manual or automatic mode.
7.2.1 Manual operation
In this case, it is the operator who decides when to start up the
nebulization group by setting the main switch as indicated in the
figure below:
To stop the machine, the operator must set the main switch to OFF.
In any case, do not exceed 8-10 hours of daily operation.
7.2.2 Automatic operation
In this case, the main switch must be positioned as follows:
