If the optional protective caps are not used, take measures to prevent
accidental contact and make sure that there is sufficient distance or
insulation between adjacent devices.
CAUTION! Protection and safety functions!
Only use the voltage presence detector for the intended purpose.
Otherwise, the protection and safety functions of the voltage presence
detector may fail.
CAUTION! Suitability test by system builders and operators!
The system builders and operators must ensure the suitability and correct
use of the voltage presence detector.

For Your Safety

Observe the following before installing and configuring the voltage
presence detector:
• Read this user manual before installing the voltage presence detector and
keep it for further reference.
• Observe all safety information in this manual and the specifications
indicated on the voltage presence detector.
• Disconnect the voltage presence detector from all power sources
and make sure that input and power supply are de-energized before
installation and configuration!
• For multi-range models: Only change the input and output ranges using
the rotary switch in the de-energized state.
• Install two two-pole circuit breakers: one for the voltage presence detector
power supply and one for the input.
• Do not connect the voltage presence detector to the power supply before
it is professionally installed.
• Only licensed electricians or qualified personnel with comparable training
are permitted to install and configure the voltage presence detectors in
accordance with this user manual.
