3.2 Connection procedure
Prior to electrical connection, make sure the power is off.
1. Loosen the fixing screws and remove the protective cover which contains the
electrical wiring diagram.
2. The heater is delivered 230V~ single-phase. For 400V~ three-phase, replace the
original single-phase plate with a 400 V ~ three-phase kit.
How to install this kit is explained further on in the manual.
3. Feed the cable through the specific cable clamp
4. Tighten the cable clamp.

5. Connect the ends of the cable to the thermostat's screw terminals provided for
this purpose (you do not need to remove the thermostat).
6. Connect the green/yellow earth wire to the terminal marked W , on the water
heater's flange

7. Refit the cover after checking the connection terminals are correctly tigh-
tened.
8. Tighten the screws on the cover.
