40. Multi-button
General
40.1
The wireless multi-button is a radio transmitter in which a radio signal is
generated when the button is switched to position A or B. The button reverts
to the middle position after pressing.
The button can be used for certain remote control functions. One button
position could for instance be linked to reduced ventilation mode when
using a wood burning stove or while being away from home for an extended
period of time ( Away mode ).
The button is connected to the wireless network via the main product
display. This is described in menu chapter Touchscreen .
40.2
Installation
The button can be affi xed to a fl at surface with double-sided tape or screws:
• Remove the base plate from the button section by carefully separating
the base plate from the button section using a screwdriver.
• Mount the base plate on a fl at wall surface using screws.
• Then push the button section onto the base plate.
40.3
First start
Connect/defi ne the multi-button to the wireless system by selecting a
connection channel in the Defi ne menu on the display and then pushing the
button (position A or B). For detailed information, see chapter Touchscreen /
Defi ne SmartControl accessories .
