39. Room sensor

39.1
The wireless room sensor is powered by the integrated solar cells, which can
be supplemented by the supplied battery (1/2 AA, 3,6 V) if light levels are
low.
The sensor is connected to the wireless network via the main product
display. This is described in menu chapter Touchscreen .
39.2
Installation
The room sensor should be placed in a suitable location in the home that is
representative of the temperature in the room, not in a draughty location or
near a heat source. If possible, position the sensor where the solar cells can
be charged by natural daylight.
• To remove the base plate, push in the latch at the bottom of the sensor
with a screwdriver.
• Use screws to attach the base plate of the sensor to a flat wall surface.
• Connect the sensor to the system using the software, see chapter First
start below.
• Push the cover onto the base plate.
39.3
First start
Connect/define the room sensor to the wireless system by selecting a
vacant channel position in the Define menu on the display and then pushing
the "learn button" on the sensor. For detailed information, see chapter
Touchscreen/ Define SmartControl accessories .
