Theory - Radiometer Analytical ISE25Pb Mode D'emploi

The ISE25Pb is a solid-state electrode with a polycrystalline
sensing element. When the crystal is in contact with a solution
containing lead ions, an electrode potential develops across the
crystal. This electrode potential is measured against a constant
reference potential, using an ion meter. The level of lead ions,
corresponding to the measured potential, E, can be expressed
using the Nernst equation:
