3. COOLING LINKING PIPES
The two indoor and outdoor units are equipped with flare
couplings allowing to use flare cooling pipes (copper pi-
pes of cooling quality equipped at their ends with nuts).
4. DESCRIPTION
4.1. Casing
- Panels and insulated sheet metal for the indoor unit
are treated for protection against corrosion with powder
paint or oven-baked enamel according to model of the
outdoor unit.
- Combined blower/intake grille, for the Cassette.
- Possible hand operated adjustment of air distribution
on all four sides. Possibility to close one or two faces
of discharge.
- Intake at center with filter.
- Prepunched holes for connection with fresh air intake
and connection with a stud duct to treat an adjacent
room. In that case it becomes necessary to provide a
decompression in the adjacent room (grille ...) to allow
air intake on the Cassette.
4.2. Insulation
- Heat and sound insulation throughout the indoor air
treatment unit.
- The whole compressor compartment of the condensa-
tion unit is soundproofed.
4.3. Cooling circuit
- Hermetic compressor group equipped with thermic and
electrical protections connected wiht a entirely brazed,
sealed cooling circuit.
- “Capillary” type foolproof expansion element.
- Cooling filter built into the cooling circuit.
- "AROUND THE YEAR" system (accessory), regulating
the high pressure of the cooling circuit in order to
operate when cooling, down to an outdoor temperature
of -–10°C by ventilation speed variation of the outdoor
unit.
- Cycle reversing valve for heatpump heating.
- Heatpump models, nonreturn and additional expansion
valve, through capillary tube .
4.4. Ventilation
- Ventilation of helicoid type profiled for axial flow and
low rotation speed for the Condensing Unit.
- Centrifugal fan with direct drive.
- Motors mounted on rubbers and equipped with internal
thermal safety devices. Motor mono speed coupled on
auto-transformer .
4.5. Filtration
Cleanable air filter accessible after opening the discharge/
intake combined grille.
4.6. Electric heating
- The Cassettes are factory-equipped with electric
heating to be connected on site.
- The electric heating equipped with heating resistances
is heat protected against any abnormal raise of
