09. USAGE
1. Install the Babydoppler Connect application
on your tablet
or smartphone from App Store or Google Play
platforms (key word « Babydoppler Connect »
in the search bar).
2. Before using the device for the first time,
insert the two 1,5V AAA-type batteries as in-
dicated by the polarity markings in the battery
compartment of the Babydoppler Connect.
3. Plug the headphones delivered, in the associated jack plug
(1)
4. Switch on the Babydoppler Connect by pushing 2 seconds
the on/off button on the right side of the device. The power
LED indicator light should be lit. If not, please check the pola-
rity of the battery. Light will blink when battery is low.
5. Apply the contact gel (2) and position the doppler probe
on the lower abdomen of the mother-to-be according to the
diagram and the number of weeks of pregnancy. (3) Move
slowly upwards until you hear the baby's heartbeats in your
headphones.
6. Adjust the volume (4 levels) of headphones thanks to the button
on the left side of the device. Short press volume button, volume
change one level. Long press volume button, volume change
continuous.
7. Launch the Babydoppler Connect application, register from the
homepage.
8. To use the Babydoppler Connect with the application, plug the
double jack cable delivered, in the associated jack plug (4) and
plug the other end to the jack plug of your tablet/smartphone.
Then plug the headphones delivered, in the other jack plug (4).
Finally, on the application press the «Record your baby» function.
For a better listening, Airplane Mode activation is recommended.
9. Press the «register» function to save your baby's heatbeats in
the history of your plays.
10. To share your plays with your relations, go on «Your recor-
dings» function. Click on the play you want to share, then click on the «share» function. Choose
the sending channel (mail, MMS, Social network). From this interface, you are also able to
listen your recording by pressing the «listen» function.
10. MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, switch off the device and remove the batteries.
Clean the surface of the device and wipe the probe to remove any traces of contact gel with
a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, clean with a soft cloth soaked in soapy water or water and wipe
dry immediately with a clean cloth.
Do not use a strong solvent like acetone or an abrasive like steel wool or a metal polisher.
Do not allow the liquid to penetrate inside the device and do not immerse any part of the
device in any liquid whatsoever.
To disinfect and sterilise the surface of the probe, use Rubbing Alcohol 70% and leave to dry,
