The hand chain block has to be loaded with a minimum load (see "Technical data") in order to guarantee
the reliable operation of the load pressure brake.
Functional description
The Hand Chain Blocks are equipped with a spur gear. A high-tensile spur gear serves as lifting device.
The load is held in every position by means of a mounted-in load pressure brake.
Lifting and lowering is effected through pulling on the hand chain.
The load pressure brake is activated automatically as soon as the minimum load is applied.
Operating Instructions
ATTENTION:
Before using the Hand Chain Block, make sure that the provided suspension points safely resist occur-
ring loads.
The hand chain block is suited for vertical operation only.
It is not suited for operation in hazardous location.
Load chain and hook must not come into contact with hydrogen acid or aggressive cleaning material.

The load may only be suspended from the load hook.
Hang the load from the hook in central position only.
