Destined use

The Hand Chain Block is universally suitable for
lifting and lowering of loads.
The hand chain block is not designed for con-
tinuous operation.
Not suitable for use in explosive danger area.
Not suitable for use in corrosive atmosphere.
Alterations to the winch or fitting of accessories are
only allowed with our written approval.

Safety instructions

Operation,
installation
should only be executed by:
Competent, qualified persons

Qualified persons for reasons of their training, experience and
instruction are persons who do their necessary activities
without danger and who can avoid this danger due to their
knowledge of directives, regulations for the prevention of
accidents and standards. These persons are responsible for
the security of the installation.
The Hand chain block must not be used to convey
persons. No persons are allowed to remain within
the hoist's danger zone.
It is prohibited to stand underneath a suspended
load
Never touch moving parts.
Defects must be repaired immediately by competent
trained personnel.
Never leave a suspended load unsupervised.
High-strength parts such as chains, hooks and
transmission components should be kept clear of
free hydrogen, acids, alkalis, vapours and very
aggressive cleaning agents. Risk of brittle failure.

The chain
is designed only for the lifting, lowering or pulling
of diverse loads. It should not be used for any
other purpose.

The Hand Chain Block
Do not exceed the capacity according to the
technical data.
Before taking into operation, a competent person
must check:
Examinations prior to every use:
brake functions
condition of the chain and load hook (visual in-
spection)
Load lifting tackle
If additional load lifting tackle is used, make sure
its load capacity is sufficient for the job.
Load hooks must have a safety clasp.
Fasten the load correctly.
Do not use the chain as slinging tackle.
Hang the load from the hook in central position
only.
The winch should be given a thorough ex-
amination by a competent person at least once
a year.
Always ensure the maintenance intervals are
adhered to.
Only use original accessories and spare parts;
otherwise safe function is not guaranteed.
