2. Set the year using the +/- buttons on the side (you can select a year between 2015 and 2031). To
confirm the year, press the memory button M.
3. The month now flashes on the display. Set the month using the +/- buttons. To confirm the month,
press the memory button M.
4. The day now flashes on the display. Set the day using the +/- buttons. To confirm the day, press
the memory button M.
5. The hour now flashes on the display. Set the hour using the +/- buttons. To confirm the hour,
press the memory button M.
6. The minute now flashes on the display. Set the minute using the +/- buttons. To confirm the min-
ute, press the memory button M.
7. The set year appears on the display again. To complete the operation, press the START/STOP
button . The device then switches off.

4.3 Setting the alarm

An optional alarm can be set on the device. To set the alarm, proceed as follows:
1. Press and hold the - button on the side for 5 seconds. "oFF" flashes on the dis-
play if the alarm is deactivated.
" " flashes on the display if the alarm is active.
Activate or deactivate the alarm using the +/- buttons. Press the memory but-
ton M to confirm the selection.
2. The alarm hour flashes on the display when the alarm has been activated. Set the alarm hour using
the +/- buttons. To confirm the alarm hour, press the memory button M.
3. The alarm minute now flashes on the display. Set the alarm minute using the +/- buttons. To con-
firm the alarm minute, press the memory button M.
4. " " appears on the display. To complete the operation, press the START/STOP button
The device then switches off.
