B. REMINDERS AND ADVICE
This product is supplied with a varistor. It should be fi tted directly on the lock terminals (electro-
magnetic lock, electric release, etc) controlled by the equipment. If the appliance operates with many
locks, each one must be fi tted with a varistor. It limits voltage surges (back EMF) caused by the coil
of the lock (strike, electro-magnetic locks, retrofi t housings or handles, solenoid lock bolts or motorised locks).
In the case of a Sherlock electro-magnet (Shear Lock), it should be powered with a separate power
supply independent from the PROMI1000PC.
